Rank Descriptions

Dominants;

These two wolves are a pair, but not mates. They are Alira and Zea; Sisters, who lead the pack together. They are the two most respected wolves in the pack, and are in the highest possible rank.


Betas;

These two wolves are the second pair in charge. They are in the second highest rank, and are very respected. These two don't have to be mates.

Deltas;
These two are the 3rd in charge, and in the 3rd highest rank of the pack. They are also respected by all pack members, these two don't have to be mates, either.


Food Gatherers;
These wolves are strong and fast. They provide food for the pack, they go out to catch fish, hares and everything in between. They lead when there is a pack hunt, the Dominants close behind them.

Medicine Wolves;
These wolves have lots of knowledge, and are very smart. They treat the wounds of pack members, and are respected.

Fighters;
The Fighter wolves are very strong and have lots of stamina. They deal with any unknown wolves who enter the pack territory wanting to join. They also fight off bears, kill coyotes and keep the general area around the den very safe.

Nannies;
These wolves are females most of the time, sometimes they can be males. They have to be extrememly kind, not quick-tempered, and they must be good with pups and yearlings. They stay behind with the youth when the pack's out hunting, keeping them safe.


Yearlings;
These wolves are between one and two years old. They spend most of their time around the den, but are allowed to go out and explore, but they must stay behind with the nannies during a pack hunt.

Pups;
These wolves are between newborns and one year old. They are almost always only with their mother or the nannies. They are allowed out of the den a few weeks after birth.

Elders;
This rank cannot be chosen apon joining. The wolves in this rank are over 7 years of age, so they are very old. They are wise and enjoy telling stories to Pups and Yearlings.

Wolf of The Month;
The WoTM is chosen once a month. This person must be very active in the pack, loyal and help out a bit around the place.

Old Members
This rank is for people who have decided to depart from the pack, or have been kicked out or banned.
